Mixing & mastering are two separate things. Mixing is when your adding all your effects to your vocals, you have the beat in the session, your setting your volume to your beat & vocals so they sound about even, etc....Mastering is after you export all that & you just have one single file & then you add effects to that one single wav file. For years I didnt do this...BIG MISTAKE...Mastering makes your song sound full, loud, punchy & PROFFESIONAL...Its a huge part of the process. I actually really enjoy mastering & today ill be showing you guys how you can master your song in under 7 minutes with Adobe Auditions stock effects. Dont sleep on your master.
